Steppers Athletics uses basketball as a powerful tool for mentorship, preparing Chicago's youth to become successful, outstanding citizens. Through our collective experiences, failures, and passion, we pour into the next generation to build a stronger community on and off the court.

Founded by Nicholas White, Steppers Athletics uses the power of sports to shape the leaders of tomorrow. We believe the court and the field are the ultimate classrooms for teaching youth how to become hardworking, innovative, and collaborative adults.

Physical Educator | Varsity Head Coach | Former Two-Sport Collegiate Athlete
Combining a B.S. in Sports Management with an M.A. in Teaching, I am committed to developing the "whole athlete." My background as a collegiate basketball and football player at Garden City CC and the University of Saint Mary informs my approach to student mentorship and performance training. From managing physical education programs to coaching Amundsen High School to conference titles and Sweet 16 appearances, my focus remains on safety, skill progression, and leadership.
